RSS (otherwise known as Really Simple Syndication) is great for letting people know what is happening without the need to update your web pages constantly.

Without updating my web site on a regular basis, I can issue an RSS feed that informs subscribers that something has happened... and they don't even need to visit my site to read the news feed.

I have developed a simple screen saver that lets you know what's happening with domfairlie.com and its clients in a live real-time environment.
